From 2015 to 2017, I circumnavigated the globe as a teacher and crew member aboard Sørlandet, a ninety-year-old Norwegian tall ship.
Geoff Line grew up in Orlando, Florida and Canada. He circumnavigated the globe as a high school teacher and crew member aboard Sørlandet, a ninety-year-old Norwegian tall ship operating as a boarding school at sea. He also lead the ship’s integration program, partnering recently settled refugees from Syria and Eritrea with Norwegian sail trainees to foster cross-cultural relations during the European Tall Ships Races. Before that, he lived and worked in Nagano, Japan. He is a graduate student at Boston University.
